February 2021 saw a flood wave rushing down the Rhine river. The muddy water surged across the banks and inundated walkways and playgrounds. For the swans, a new habitat emerged. Modern levees prevented serious damage. Subsequently, the flooded plain turned into a major attraction. Watching a dangerous threat successfully contained pleases the observer. The river even mirrored trees and bushes and offered the opportunity to play with reflections modes in-camera. The outpouring of the rain and snow melt became a sensation of corresponding lines and mysterious Rorschach-like structures.
